
Luigi Sausa is a scholar of semiotics and interactional linguistics who graduated from the Department of Oriental Languages and Civilizations at the University of Naples "L’Orientale". He joined in the Erasmus project at the Institut National des Langues et Civilizations Orientales (INALCO) in Paris and deepened his areas of interest through several periods of study abroad at Universitas Negri Manado on the island of Sulawesi, Universitas Sumatera Utara in the North Sumatra region, and Universitas Borneo Tarakan in the North Kalimantan region. He studied Arabic at An-Najah National University in Nablus, Palestine, and at the Dar Comboni Institute for Arab-Islamic Studies in Cairo, Egypt. He is currently a doctoral student in the Asia Africa and Mediterranean department of the "L’ Orientale "University of Naples and collaborates with the Indonesian publishing house re: ON Comics.
