Federica Stagni is a PhD student in Political and Social Sciences at the Scuola Normale Superiore, affiliated with the Center for Research on Social Movements (COSMOS), and president of the socio-cultural organisation Metro-Polis based in Bologna. She graduated from the University of Bologna and holds a master’s degree in International Studies from the University of Trento. She also worked at the ACLED research centre, where she was involved in real-time data-gathering and data-management for the countries of the Levant and East Africa. She is currently following Palestinian and Israeli social movements organising and mobilising to prevent the demolition of Palestinian homes in the South Hebron Hills and the eviction of Palestinians living in East Jerusalem.
